Normally a crosswalk resurfacing wouldn't make news but the City of Cornwall, Ontario, put out an announcement when they redid the paint on the rainbow crosswalk opened earlier this year on an intersection on the downtown streets Pitt and First. Since rainbow crosswalks have been removed by the state of Florida and now Greg Abbott, governor of Texas, seems to be trying to do the same thing, the city must have wanted to reassure people that it wasn't being removed.
