Saw this a few minutes ago - at first I thought it was an immature bald eagle because it was so large, but it was black. The wingspan was about six feet, and it flew between me and the tree so I could judge the size well. It didn't appear to be a turkey vulture, which is the only black bird of that size that I see around here. It was like a really big raven and very beautiful and graceful. Near Akwesasne, Ontario
