Thrift store find - the Polaroid Swinger came out in 1965 and had a viewfinder that had a small panel in it that would turn to 'YES' when you adjusted the exposure by the red knob. I remember a student took one to Man and His World on our class trip sometime in the late 1960s or early 70s.

Some of the people who have been evacuated from Sandy Lake First Nation are in Cornwall. I passed by three teenagers near the hotel where they're staying. "Hi, Have a nice day" said one to me, even though it was evening.

It was a presentation about the difficulties immigrant face accessing mental health care. The conference presenters were Africans and Arabs. I found it interesting that they closed the conference with a dance led by a single woman. I wondered why white Canadians didn't. I went to a meeting in a Kanyen'kehà:ka (Mohawk) longhouse and they did incorporate dancing into the meeting.
