Sheep eating pumpkins after Halloween
![]() |
| Because what else can you do with them after Hallowe'en? |
As I recall, somewhere on Highway 6, between Guelph and 401, late 1990s
Bats! Hundreds of thousands of bats!
Carlsbad Caverns has a huge number of bats, and they swarm out at night to feed on insects, flying towards the Pecos in a huge dark river in the sky. First the swallows, birds that also nest inside the cave fly out and then the sounds changes from feathers to skin beating on skin and the crowd gasps at the charnel stink of the bats!
