Queensboro Bridge, 1991

Queensboro Bridge, Manhattan December 1991 view from Bloomingdale's waitress unlocked door to balcony to let me go out! I saw Linus Pauling, only person to win two unshared Nobel prizes. He was wearing his trademark oversized black beret and I recognized from the other end of the floor. Nobody else did!  If it had been Madonna she would have been mobbed. I was too awestruck to get his photo or talk to him.
