10 ft long Burmese python held by Scott Banks, Carol Whittaker at Flamborough Township Animal Shelter, snake found near pond near Cambridge, 31 August 1994.
There were stories that the snake was owned by a guy who used to swim with it in the pond. Another reporter and myself noticed a strong smell of decay coming from somewhere around the pond but we couldn't locate it!
Snake didn't like being photographed and lunged at me. Huge mouth with curved teeth that could really do damage.
