Peterborough, Ontario, May 15 2025  - Very nice venue - the Market Hall, built in 1890, was the town market and would have been demolished to make a mall in the 1970s, but was incorporated into the new mall. It was renovated in 2011, nice bar, washrooms, accessible and a 350 seat theatre which was built with what looked like the original beams from 1890, with the acorn shaped finials hanging down. 

June bug in May

First June bug of the year, probably Marmora, Ontario, May 16, 2025. Active at night, these bugs live as grubs in the ground for three years before emerging as flying beetles. About the size of a quarter.

The tall red and white structure at the prow of the ship is an AirWing, a 20 metre tall 'sail' made by GT Wings of England.
