Karsh's photo of Churchill stolen.
I've been to Karsh's suite in the Chateau Laurier - they had his photo of George Bernard Shaw over the fireplace. I interviewed Karsh's assistant who told me she slapped Churchill on the back when she saw him in Parliament! "Good old Winnie!" she said. https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2022/08/22/famed-portrait-of-winston-churchill-by-yousuf-karsh-swiped-from-chteau-laurier-in-ottawa.html update Sept 11, 2024, it's been found: https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/winston-churchill-photo-yousuf-karsh-stolen-found-1.7318661

Loblaw's No Name Yellow Campaign
Filming a French language commercial in the Mainville's Your Independent Grocer in Alexandria, Ontario
- I think it's the same guy as in this commercial: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=910975639301160
The Loblaw's group of food stores has a 'no name' brand that comes in yellow with black type packaging. This would be what a supermarket in the TV series The Prisoner would look like.
More photos from the newly opened No Name store in Brockville, Ontario (3027 Parkedale Ave W) from December 08, 2024:
In Cornwall, no No Name store yet, but cart still had No Name on it. Lait de Poule is Eggnog in French. Eggnog has a six morae count in Japanese rather than seven. My bad. So I put an emphatic yo! at the end.
