Fall, 1998 - These are Panca-Rupa ( Guardian Protectors ) at the Dhammikarama Burmese Temple in Penang, Malaysia - a composite of five creatures - I think you could drop coins into the globe. Temple was completely deserted when I went there - I'm glad it was there because I didn't want to go to Burma as it was a military dictatorship.
