Imke under tow

  Cargo ship Imke ran aground earlier in August while delivering a shipment of turbine blades to Ogdensburg, NY on the St. Lawrence Seaway for a wind farm. Was being towed back to Montreal. There is a wind farm on the mountains behind it.

Moon Saturn Jupiter Milky Way

Moon, Saturn, Jupiter, Milky Way over St. Lawrence River. The Milky Way seems to rise from the Mohawk reserve of Akwesasne - the legend I heard was that the spirits of the people who died would remain near their homes until a day in the fall where they would leave and continue their journey by the Milky Way.
